VISION
To propel the mission of Gem City Church by creating family ministry environments that are aligned with the vision of the church. Lead and shepherd our Serve Teams as they invest into the next generation each week, building spaces where children feel loved, worship together and are taught the truths of God’s Word. We want Little Gems and Gem City Kids to grow up knowing they are loved by Jesus, treasure His Word, and grow into worshipers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee the Little Gems and Gem City Kids environments and teams, including check in, curriculum,
  teaching and worship.
• Oversee recruitment and shepherding of all new Serve Team members in Little Gems and Gem City Kids.
• Build trusted relationships with the parents of Gem City Church.
• Create a culture of discipleship and leadership development among the serve team, including training and
  leadership events.
• Help organize and manage budgets, expense reports, and invoices related to Little Gems and Gem City Kids.
• Assist with additional events and project details as needed.

WORK SCHEDULE
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and a full day on Sunday —including load-in and load-out of our
temporary space.

• Have an active and growing relationship with Jesus
• Have a burden for Marietta and the surrounding areas to be reached for the gospel
• Be positive, proactive, and solution-oriented, bringing energy, creativity, momentum, and a strong team-first
  mindset
• Lead the Little Gems and Gem City Kids team to accomplish the overall vision of Gem City Church
• Exhibit the ability to solve conflict and be a problem solver
• Be relational and people-focused while remaining task-oriented, organized, and attentive to detail
• Perform job duties with excellence
• Have a minimum of three years prior ministry leadership experience
• Model the expectations for church leadership as laid out in Titus 1 and 1 Timothy 3
